the Chartreuse V
Spontaneous fermentation in tank and ageing on fine lees in concrete eggs (70%) and stainless steel (30%) for approximately 9 months
Approximately 9 months in large 25-hectolitre wooden barrels made of Allier oak (the barrels are roughly 15 years old)
Afterwards the wine spends 30 months aging in barrels – 50% Burgundy
approximately 20% new
2022 Baias e Enseadas Malvasia Reserva VR Lisboa, Portugal Liguria the Chartreuse V100% Malvasia de Colares grown on limestone soils. Fermented and aged in used burgundy barrels for 9 months.
