Pyrrosia lingua Alabama Gold Rohdea with terminal clusters of uprightPyrrosia lingua 'Alabama Gold', was shared by Alabama plantsman, Hayes Jackson, who found it for sale at a local garden center. Pyrrosia 'Alabama Gold' creeps via pencil lead sized rhizomes that lay on the ground or any solid surface. Emerging from the rhizome are 10" long, thumb shaped leaves with a leathery texture. The green leaves are flushed gold when grown where it receives open shade or morning sun. Pyrrosia 'Alabama Gold' should form a 2' wide
