The lovely bouquet wafts from the glass in a mix of cassis, black plum, raw cocoa, a complex base of dark soil tones, currant leaf, pigeon, a touch of vanillin oak and a lovely topnote of violets. On the palate the wine is pure, full bodied and complex, with a lovely core of fruit, fine transparency and grip, suave
