2019 Chateau Bourgneuf, Pomerol, France Textura 300 feet above sea levelFrom a small 810 ha plot on gravel sandy soils in the heart of Pomerol, this 2019 is typically blended from ~75% Merlot and ~25% Cabernet Franc. The vines are farmed organically (conversion since 2009) and hand harvested. Vinification uses native yeasts and traditional methods; levage runs ~20 months in French oak barrels.
