2019 Domaine Plaisance-Penavayre Le Rouge Fronton, France Magnum (1.5L) Robert Ampeau indigenous to the province ofVariety: 68% Ngrette, 24% Syrah, 8% Cabernet Franc Vine Age: Planted between 1963 and 2001 Terroir: Gravelly, silty, alluvial topsoil over clay limestone bedrock. Located on the third terrace in Tarn at 220 meters elevation. Viticulture: Organic (certified) since 2011 Vinification: Three varieties are vinified and aged separately in stainless steel tanks before final assembly, indigenous yeast fermentation. Aged for 18 months in concrete tanks.
