Description

There is one small area of light colored spotting near the lip that appears original to the making

to those antlers just clearing the opening--I find this drawing really wonderful

a heavily detailed form of traditional Indian traditional embroidery that originates from the Kutch and the Saurashtra regions of Gujarat in North Western India--as well as a perimeter of multi-colored sequins and cut and sewn cotton fabric triangles fringe

and with her worn but still sparkly gold belt over long pink patterned robe-like dress

7 1/4" tall  x 10" diameter

Smiling Face Antique Painting on Silk resting birds There is one small areaSuch a funny, cheery face! It was painted on silk, then very carefully wrapped around a piece of round board, pinned tight along the edges all the way around. It did have a ribbon with a little hanging loop attached to the top, but it immediately crumbled in my hands as soon as I touched it not too surprising as I'd think this is well over a hundred years old. I think of it kind of like a smiling moon, and might hang it high on the wall to watch over
