I found this handsome wood duck in Southern Maine

3 1/8” long x 1 1/4” tall x 1 1/2” wide each and in great vintage condition

which I have managed to get two but not all three on

and I believe it was most likely made by a Napoleonic prisoner of war while in captivity

The body was hand carved, and the legs appear to be cast brass, connected to the body by small posts aided by glue, which is visible in spots.
