Folk Art Painted Miniature Dome Top Chest movable legs but just enhancing its senseSo lovely and special feeling, I believe this miniature folk art painted dome top chest is Northern European, and I'd guess German, as to me the painted houses on it remind me very much of early German Erzgebirge ones. (A similar one, sold at Skinner for $300+, was attributed as Northern European.) Wonderfully painted on every side, with the topiary esque green trees against white with blue sky above and yellow ground below especially doing it for me.
