using a pre-printed page upon which it seems one was meant to create drawings that could reproduced as prints

clearer and easier to read than my photos portray

There are a few broken bits here and there (rungs on the ladder

which was done in sepia colored ink

With just a little effort the hand written text is all very readable, with details about the composition of each diagrammed strata at left and the location of where, in England, each was found at right. I love it formally
