Something Like a Match, Late 1800s British Ink Drawing of Animal Cricket Game canisters These are minor and IQuite a cast of characters in this fun late 19th century British drawing, black ink on white laid paper. I like that cat, frog, and dogs of several species are all playing cricket together, and think the expressions on the faces of the hitter and catcher are both pretty great. My favorite though (in addition to the shin guards) might be the balletic posture of the outfielder! Plus quite a menagerie of fans way in the back. Paper size: 7 1 8" x 5 7 8".
