I really love an old carved out wooden box

And one doesn't often come across a homemade stocking knit panda

I'd guess it dates to the 60s or 70s and believe that it is bronze

Most of these are brass

with little tears at the corners

I can find no other set or even documentation of these out there, though I did turn up a couple other examples of blocks produced by Tri ang under the "Teachem Toys" name. Quite beautifully made,
