Saunders and Sage Ridge
all wrapped in a long and mouth coating finish that displays just the barest hint of rusticity
The 2000 Cantenac Brown is a vintage that I last tasted just after bottling
indeed almost delicate lemon rind-inflected finish

Lucien Le Moine, Corton Charlemagne Blanc other_regions_italy Saunders and Sage Ridge(from vines in Pernand). A pure nose of Granny Smith apples, freshly sliced lemons and limes, white flowers and plenty of wet stone character. There is outstanding size, weight and punch to the relatively elegant broadshouldered flavors that possess good depth and length but there is a surprising lack of punch. Perhaps it is just a stage but given the natural energy of Corton Charlemagne from Pernand, this is not typical. (89 92?) 2019+
