John Cleese, 1971 JB Ruins of the crypt atJohn Cleese at St Andrews ready for a drive around with a piglet. From 1970 to 1973, Cleese served as rector of the University of St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. John Cleese was given the eight week old piglet, by David Steel (Gatehouse of Fleet) and Ronald Sanderson (East Lothian) on behalf of the Porker Club. 20th April 1971.
