perhaps they were quite tired of evaporated milk and it gave great pleasure to pierce this wooden can with and put it on the shelf

not distinguishing between elephant ivory and walrus ivory

and signed Rene at right center

Transcendent Kid Made Clay Bunny Bust hobby horse which could be scraped offI found this one at an estate sale in Saratoga, NY, surely made by a kid some years ago but I find it about as excellent a bunny bust as I can imagine, and really one of my very favorite finds of the week. With a coil base, and then two more coils for the marvelous big ears. 2 1 4" x 2 3 4" x 2" t and in great vintage condition.
