An uneven left edge with a little crinkling just along that side and some smudges and age toning

One side shows rich orange fire clouding

but I really love speculating about it

these are just on the surface and there are otherwise no chips or cracks--it remains a truly stunning piece

so maybe ideally suited for hanging in a kid’s bedroom or playroom

I love how completely androgynous the figure is, who I take for a young Roman, perhaps Julius Caesar himself, crowned with metal laurel wreath but really I think it could be anyone one wants, and without the crown reminds me a lot of an old Santos figure.
