Old Hand-painted Ice Fishing Box with Excellent Red Lettering movement adopting the Red Cross asMy guess is that this was the ice fishing tackle box of a boy of 13 or so who was also very into baseball, giving the "g" at the end of "Fishing" a very baseball uniform logo esque tail. The "ice" on the top, which makes me think of block ice and early Diary Queen and the like, is pretty fabulous too. I'm not sure if the third word on the lid is meant to read "gon'fishing" or is a last name, but either way this makes me purely happy. Plus three
