One could put a whole lot of bread in this old bread box--which I of course love for the combination of very matter of factly stenciled "BREAD" against green paint
but I think quite a terrific and also joyful painting (those roofs looking like bubble gum ice cream
and I was thinking at the very least these would be fun to give to the kids for playing "eye doctor"

Lovely Antique Pennsylvania Cutting Board with Mysterious Toned Shapes sinew One could put a wholeI found this one in Pennsylvania, and though I don't know for sure, it seems to me it might have been tin quilting templates that sat on this cutting board for a very long time, leaving their silhouettes behind. Whatever the case, feels almost like a photogram, with a nice sense of mystery to it. And with the wooden board very well used before or since, with knife marks all over.
