The top features what seems like an etched design corresponding to the initials: definitely a Jaguar for the J and a Lion for the L

it is just no longer attached to something that would hold it tightly clamped

I think this is especially great hung on the wall with small nails in a few places at different heights so that it slinks across the wall a bit

and feel wonderful to hold

The winder for the music box is on the bottom and works great, producing a tune that is strong and bright and cheerful, but unknown to me! The interior is divided into one larger and one smaller section, the smaller more shallow as the music box is housed below it. The box is in very good vintage condition, with a few
